JOURNEY OF CONTEMPORARY ART - SIFNOS 2016

 

The Journey of Contemporary Art aspires to turn Sifnos into a summer destination for artists and art lovers. The vision is to organize every summer an international exhibition of contemporary art totally integrated in the natural environment of Sifnοs, creating a new «map» with art trails to follow on the island.

 

In 2015, the first Journey of Contemporary Art offered the opportunity to all summer visitors of the island to experience the work of fourteen artists, most of them internationally renowned, and received rave reviews from artists and visitors alike. 

 

This year, the second Journey invites art lovers to visit Sifnos to get to know the works of 17 renowned artists: Christian Brechneff, Bernard Pras, Marina Vernicos, Alberto Bourdeth, Katerina Psaradeli, Avraam Gounaris,  Vincent Guzman, Kiki Voulgareli, Anna Kache, Εric Liot, Nikolaos Xoutos, Bernadro Flemming, Christina Papageorgiou, Melanie van Raaij, Alexia Psaradeli, Georgia Nikolakopoulou.
